Zhang Dawo
Dawo severs from the manacle of Modern Calligraphy and transubstantiates through Chinese ink and brush, to Contemporary Art. “Dawo Miaomo” 大我妙墨has been unfettered from the ascertainable letters. It is accepted as the “ünsurpassable Oriental modernism art form”. His works are free and variant, exquisite and vivid, full-fledged tenacious Oriental romanticism and mysticism. Representation of the 90’s, 'The Dragon’s Resplendence’ is one of the five British Museum acquisitions.
