Debra Couzens is a Kirrae Wurrong/Gunditjmara weaver and possum skin cloak maker from southwestern Victoria. Couzens collaborated with her sister, artist Vicki Couzens , in the reproduction of a 19th century Possum Skin cloak from Lake Condah that was housed in the Melbourne Museum. This cloak (which was completed in 2002) is now in the Tooloyn Koortakay collection at the National Museum of Australia. Recent exhibitions Couzens has participated in include the Couzens family exhibition 'Ngathook mangnoorroo watanoo: I come from’ (2008) and 'Ng woka, woka nganin: I am the land & the land is me’ (2008/2009), both at the Bunjilaka Gallery of the Melbourne Museum.
