Djambawa Marawili AM (Recipient of the Order of Australia) is an Australian Indigenous artist, an activist and chairman of Buku – Larrnggay Mulka Centre at Yirrkala, Northern Territory and ANKAAA (the Association of Northern, Kimberley and Arnhem Aboriginal Artists).
His work is represented in most major Australian collections, and in several overseas collections. He won the prestigious National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award Best Bark Painting Prize in 1996.
