Djambawa Marawili AM (Recipient of honors of Order of Australia)is an Australian Indigenous artist, an activist and an chairman of Buku – Larrnggay Mulka Centre at Yirrkal, Northern Territory and ANKAAA. His work represents in most major Australian Indigenous collection, and in several overseas collections. He won the prestigious National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award Best Bark Painting Prize in 1996.
