cartoonist, drew imitation Virgil cartoons of young women. 'He was never a Smith’s Weekly artist but was on the staff of the Daily Guardian which was owned and operated by Smith’s Newspapers Ltd’ – also presumably why his drawing of 2 sub-Virgil women is in the Cross collection of cartoons from Smith’s. He left the Guardian in the late 1920s and vanished from the newspaper scene.
