Description

In the tradition of the Gallery’s major surveys of significant Western Australian artists, the Douglas Chambers exhibition charted the artist’s career since his arrival in WA from Great Britain in 1970. Seventy-five works illustrated a chronological development from the technically experimental abstract work of the 1970s to the richly painted figurative work of recent years.
