illustrator, was the first staff artist on the Queenslander (early 1890s). A small print entitled Baron River Aborigines , showing a mother, father and child (SLNSW SPF/ Australian Aborigines Qld), possibly comes from that paper. The SLNSW also holds Le Bihan’s excellent originals of Sydney Town Hall [at night] during the Federation Celebrations 1901 (large DG Pl 98), a smaller one (DG Pe 252) of a tiny Sydney GPO beside a giant wool-bale showing the annual output of wool in Australia in 1901 (467,900,000 lbs) and one about taxes (DG Pf 97).
