sketcher, exhibited four drawings at the 1869 Ballarat Mechanics Institute Exhibition: The Biter Bit , Out for a Day’s Sport , The Monarch of the Glen and The Apt Scholar . All were undoubtedly copies after prints by the popular English painter Edwin Landseer.
