professional photographer, was a partner with E.H. Cornock in 1863, the firm of Cornock & Cardell being at 201 Rundle Street, Adelaide. He was at Kapunda (SA) in 1866 (the date on a stamped carte-de-visite). Later he moved to Queensland and worked at Maryborough (1874-75), Roma (1884-91) and Cloncurry (1894-96).
