Edward Baker Boulton was a grazier in northern New South Wales whose artistic practice is said to have enjoyed more attention than his sheep. A prominent member of high Sydney society, Boulton exhibited his landscapes in Sydney, Melbourne and London. The father of 18 children, his daughter Annie Jane is also recognised as an artist.
