A professional photographer, Edward C. Bell worked in both Victoria and New South Wales from the 1860s until the 1880s. Sharing a studio with his wife, they both exhibited at the Bendigo Fine Arts Exhibition in 1869.
professional photographer, was working with his wife in a photographic studio at Bendigo, Victoria, by 1865. Both showed work at the 1869 Bendigo Fine Arts Exhibition. The photographer Edward Bell, who was working in Sydney in 1871 and in Melbourne in 1872-86 seems to be the same person. A stereograph of an early 1870s Melbourne street scene stamped E.C. Bell is known.
