Wood and stone carver, cabinetmaker in Perth, Western Australia. Medallist at the 1908 Franco British Exhibition. Madeley was possibly the son of William maker of the carved presentation casket to Queen Victoria. He lived and worked at Forrest Street, East Perth in 1914 and in 1924 and 1936 at 29 Monger Street, Perth. In 1941 Madeley is still at Monger Street but now only listed as a woodcarver.
