artist, was enquired after in the Victoria Police Gazette of 31 August 1855: 'Goodbarne, Edward, lived at Rio, aged about 28, left London in 1850, at Mt. Remarkable, Adelaide in March 1853, artist by profession. Friends all well at home, information to Messrs Walcott and Company, London.’
