Opened by Deborah Mills and the Lord Mayor of Newcastle, 8 March 1995.
The work of pioneer potter Eileen Keys exploited the qualities of Australian minerals and reflected the form, colour and textures of landscape. This small exhibition of her work from the Gallery’s Collection was mounted as a tribute following the artist’s death in 1992.
