Eliza Blyth

Eliza Blyth was a painter and art teacher who exhibited in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales despite living predominantly in Hobart, Tasmania. Some sources identify this Miss Blyth as being born in England in 1820 and dying in Bellreive, Tasmania, in 1894. However it is likely that Miss Blyth the artist was one of that lady's nieces, a daughter of William Francis Blyth and the sketcher Elizabeth Crowther.
