Etcher Eric G. Scott studied art in Sydney and Paris. He later established a reputation in the USA which was largely thanks to an American women's club Paris that supported his work.
etcher, was born in Bega NSW. He studied at Sydney Art School, then at l’Académie Julian in 1920 while making a precarious living selling commercial pen drawings. Helped by an American women’s club in Paris, he held an exhibition of his etchings and subsequently established a reputation in the USA.
