He ran a life class upstairs in Bon March_ Chambers – the studio of Lila C. According to Betsey Currie he was a very good teacher. About fifteen students gathered regularly on Thursday nights when they put in a shilling each. There was 5 shillings for the model, 5 shillings for the rent and 5 shillings for Dressler. They often drew each other. Harold Vike, Vlase Zanalis and Leith Angelo were three of the other participants.
