The giant kelp forest (Macrocystis pyrifera) in Fortescue Bay, south east Tasmania, is the inspiration and setting for this exhibition by well known collage artist and book illustrator Jeannie Baker. The exhibition is made up of collage constructions which portray the textures and play of light in the complex environment of the kelp forest. A picture book, produced from these original images, accompanies the exhibition.
