Description

An exhibition of paintings by Walpiri men and women from the remote Aboriginal community of Lajamanu, 500km northwest of Alice Springs, takes the visitor back to the beginning of acrylic painting in Central Australia. This exhibition brings together rarely seen canvasses which intrigue with their ‘purity’, a raw creativity, which is free from commercial influences and market forces.
