Ewa Pachucka came to Australia with an established international reputation as a sculptor. In the 1970s her monumental crocheted works challenged the dominant masculine sense of the nature of sculpture. In 1988 she was commissioned to create Fossilised Architectural Landscape in a courtyard at Parliament House Canberra.

Description

Robert Lindsay’s series of survey exhibitions were exhibited in a specially adapted area close
to the Gallery Society Lounge. Each exhibition concentrated on one contemporary Australian artist and aimed to present a comprehensive survey of their work.
