illustrator and cartoonist, was 'Humorous artist, general cartoonist, Sun Newspapers, Sydney, 35 years’, write Rafty and Mack . 69 pencil, ink and watercolour drawings, mainly from the 1950s, including first sketches and finished artwork for 'It’s moments like this you need Minties’ ads, comic strips from the Sydney Sun , a mock-up for an unpublished cartoon strip about New Australians called 'New Aussie’, illustrations for Sporting Life , World News et al. and an outline for a boxing comic strip called 'Jim Punch’ are in ML, donated by his son Brian Campbell.
