sketcher, was the sister or mother (probably sister, both had the same name) of John Garrett Bussell of Busselton, Western Australia. She sketched in ink J.G. Bussell’s Cottage at Port Augusta on the Blackwood Swan River – a single sheet that appears to be a page from an album (private collection, London). Despite the Bussells being a large, cultured family, this modest view is the only known record that any of them sketched though there is some speculation that youngest daughter Josephine Prinsep , may have also sketched this particular landscape.
