Francis Giacco b. 1955

  • Artist
painter and art teacher. As a portraitist, Giacco is notable for the influence of genre painting which pervades his work. Giacco won the Archibald Prize in 1994, the Mosman Art Prize in 1996 and the Hills Grammar Art Prize in 2000.
