professional photographer, was a member of the Council of the Photographic Society of Victoria. The Views of Royal Park he showed at the 1861 Victorian Exhibition were possibly by other members of the society as well as himself, but the photographic panorama of Hotham (commissioned by the borough) which received an honourable mention at Melbourne’s 1866 Intercolonial Exhibition was solely his work.
