watercolour painter, NSW. 'Chambers, G. T. Landscape, water-colours. A neat and clean workman’ (A.E. Greenwood & H.W.H. Stephen, Catalogue (Descriptive and Critical) of the Art Gallery with Sydney Art Notes , Sydney, 1883).

Third annual exhibition of Art Society of NSW: “G.W.T. Chambers, East Maitland, has some creditable water-colours, the best being 193 'Marshes on the Myall River’, the peculiar colouring probably indicating that it represents the appearance of the marshes just before sunrise” ( Sydney Morning Herald , 21 March 1883, 11).
