Photographer, designer, graphic artist, cartoonist and illustrator, was included in Helen Ennis’s exhibition Mirror with a Memory (Canberra: National Portrait Gallery, 2000) with a portrait photograph of his wife, Dahl Colling s, taken in 1937 (National Gallery of Victoria).

Geoffrey Collings drew for Australia: National Journal and Australia Week-end Book 2 (1943), e.g. p.16 (kangaroos watching Yank soldier bouncing in jeep: 'Huh! Stealin’ our stuff!’), all signed 'Collings’ but one of soldier in wreck of hat labelled 'Illustrated by Geoff Collings’; 3 (1944), 3 small cartoons including Dad minding kids in chaos, 217.
