George Arthur Keartland was a professional photographer and printer who worked for the Melbourne Age in the 1870s.

professional photographer and printer, was born in Northampton. He came to Melbourne at the age of two and as a teenager worked in a Melbourne photographic studio before becoming a compositor at Tarnagulla, Victoria. Keartland joined the Melbourne Age in 1871 and was still working there as a compositor in June 1897 when he was interviewed by the Australian Typographical Journal.
