Georgia worked in film production and exhibition since graduating from Swinburne Film School in the 80’s. Her short experimental film Holzwege: Wood Roads/Wrong Ways a mock- documentary won Best Short Film at Melbourne Film Festival, was nominated for an AFI Award for Best Experimental Film and screened at festivals worldwide.
in the 1980s/90s she produced a number of short experimental films including:
FOR WANT OF (Jayne Stevenson) 1984
LOVE DELLA (Graeme Wood) 1984
NEW GOLD MOUNTAIN (Ziyin Wang) 1987
Butoh and the Japanese (Gregory Miller & Georgia Wallace-Crabbe) 1990. Since then she has produced/ directed and range of films including documentaries in a range of genres including:
JABE BABE: A HEIGHTENED LIFE (2005 Dir. Janet Merewether), winner AFI Award 2005 for Best Direction in a Documentary, IF Award for Best Documentary and MERIT AWARD – Taiwan Int’l Documentary Fest.
NEW BEIJING: Reinventing a City (2009)- also Writer/Director 52 min, Winner ATOM Award for Best Documentary Politics, History and Social Issues (2010) and Winner Archeology Film Festival Awards: Special Mention award for the best depiction of cultural change. Honorable Mention by jury in the Narration and Inspiration categories.

The Earth and The Elements (2015)- 5-Channel HD Video 26:46 Minutes, 5:1 Audio. Installation exploring ecological issues arising from the extraction and flow of mineral resources from Australia to China.
