Place of birth Mamingirri c.1940, Gladys’s language/tribe is Warlpiri and she lives at Lajamanu. Her country is Jarrardajarrayi and her Dreamings are Yarla, Ngayaki and Wardapi (Goanna). She is renowned in Lajamanu as an extraordinary dancer of the goanna ceremony. She started painting in 1986.
