cartoonist, was chosen as Best Single Gag Artist at the October 1996 ABWAC Stanley Awards (Kerry Millard and Cathy Wilcox were runners up) but was unable to accept in person as he was in New York. An example of his work (smoking in bed) is illustrated in Inkspot 28 (Spring 1997), contents page. He had a cartoon in London Punch about November 1997, according to Nik Scott (abwac website), along with Phil Somerville who was quoted as hoping Punch wouldn’t fold as was widely predicted. LeLievre’s 'Waiting for Godot’, published in the Maryborough Chronicle in June 1997, was exhibited in the National Museum of Australia, Canberra/ Old Parliament House exhibition Bringing the House Down: 12 Months of Australian Political Humour (Canberra, 1997), cat. 89.
