In the mid 1970s the Victorian Ceramic Group met monthly on Mondays, 8pm, Melbourne State College, Carlton. Vic.
Prior to that, at Cairns Memorial Church Hall, E. Melb. – Activities of the VCG were always reported in 'Pottery In Australia’. – Annual exhibition and prizes, – 1973 1st VCG Exhibition at the new Gryphon Gallery, Melbourne State College, Grattan St Carlton. Noel Flood was Snr Lecturer at MSC and President of VCG, so with the new Arts Bldg at MSC, the VCG moved to the Ceramic / Sculpture Dpt at MSC. – Monthly lectures – Ceramics workshops for and by members.
