professional photographer, was taking photographs at Beechworth, Victoria, in 1868. By 1880 he was at Mount Gambier, South Australia. Later he worked in Branxton and Singleton, New South Wales (c.1888). He exhibited photographs at the 1888-89 Melbourne Centennial International Exhibition in the NSW Court, cat. no. 352. This photographer may be connected with Benjamin Ballard .
