cartoonist, worked at Adelaide in the 1870s, eg 'What We Send For./ What We Get!’ (on migrants), Lantern (Adelaide) 1876 (ill. Coleman & Tanner, 167).

There is some speculation H.J. might be the Adelaide photographer Henry Jones .
