Turner may have been a photographer or a illustrator. He signed a very good photomontage of city buildings (including the Harbour Bridge) with crowds of people in front titled 'Sydney and Melbourne are toppling with their dead weight/ each bloated city has 300,000 too many in its populace’, Smith’s Weekly , 18 April 1931, p.6.
