Early 20th century West Australian-born newspaper cartoonist who moved to New Zealand at an early age and who began his career aged 13 contributing political cartoons to New Zealand's Christchurch Spectactor. Bennett's work also appeared in London and New York publications as well as a number of Sydney papers including the Sunday Sun and the Sydney Mail.
