A Warlpiri speaker, Helen Napaljarri Nelson lives at Yuendumu and has been exhibiting with Warlukurlangu Artists since the late ’80s. She paints her Ngarlkirdi (Witchetty Grub) and Wardapi (Goanna) Dreamings. In 1991, her work was shown in America as part of the Dreamscapes exhibition in Pittsburgh and Tucson Arizona.
