professional photographer, worked at 9 Dowling Street, Sydney, in 1861-62. The Mr Hunt who was in partnership with J.T. Gorus at 101 King Street in 1863-64 is far more likely to have been Henry than Walter Hunt , and Henry is doubtless the H. Hunt listed at 320 George Street, Sydney, in 1866-68 as proprietor of the Royal Photographic Gallery, formerly Dalton 's. The 'N.’ Hunt stated to have been his partner there early in 1868 was most probably a misprint for Walter but may just have been Miss Hunt .
