drawing and mathematics teacher, claimed to have been educated at the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, when advertising for pupils for mathematics and drawing at Launceston, Van Diemen’s Land, in 1847. The drawing classes therefore seem likely to have been exclusively technical in character.
