professional photographer, worked in Melbourne as 'Daguerrean & Photographic Artists’. The firm was at 57 Collins Street East in 1857 and at 234 Bourke Street West in 1858, according to the Melbourne Directory. His photograph, Aborigines of Victoria, was engraved on wood by Nicholas Chevalier.
