Biography printmaker and illustrator. Her children's book, _The Bird Woman_ (Silver Gum Press, 1995), is illustrated with line drawings on scraperboard about Old Ida and her one eyed dog, rooster and twelve hens. Although on the old theme of city versus country, 'each has its own complexity'. The story also emphasises the 'pressing fears of old age and modern living' and 'each illustration teems with impressions and textural design', Linnet Hunter, Australian Book Review, 178 (Feb-March 1996, 59). Also did _When the Sun Took the Colour Away_ , Melbourne, Lilly Pilly Books, 1987, hand cut and coloured illustrations hand bound in illustrated vellum with matching slipcase by Richard Griffin, first edn limited to 15 copies signed and numbered by the artist and signed by Richard Griffin; also _William the Wizard who Wasn't_ , Melbourne, 1988, 43 original lino prints hand bound in illustrated vellum by Richard Griffin, first edn limited to 6 copies; and _Rainbow_ , Gryphon Books, 1980, 20 original hand coloured linocuts, hand bound with matching slipcase, limited edn of 67 copies (Sotheby's _Fine Australian Paintings_ 22-23 April 1996 cats.261-63). Mitchell Library, State Library of New South Wales, Sydney, NSW, has 2 copies - 15/75 and 22/75 - of her Dromken 81 Alice woodcut, '"What fun", said the Gryphon' 29 September 1981.
