Little is known about this colonial artist except that he possessed admirable drawing skills. It is unfortunate that only one example survives of his talent.
sketcher, drew a panoramic pencil View of Parramatta River from our House dated 1866 and signed with barely legible initials (Mitchell Library). This well-executed and detailed drawing was possibly by James A. C. Willis .
