painter, was the artist of Loch Katrine by Moonlight, lent by the Hon. William Scott to the 1859 exhibition of the South Australian Society of Arts. The artist was most probably William Scott’s wife Janet, née Cumming. At least one other version of the same subject, by Miss A. Sanderson, was shown at the same exhibition.
