Koskie was a representational painter and graphic designer. He was the chief designer of the Commonwealth Office of Education (Sydney) Sydney and the Tasmanian Government Printer. He became a published author and illustrator in 1987.

painter, printmaker, teacher and graphic designer, born Yorkshire, arrived in Australia in 1939. During WWII he served with the camouflage engineers. Representational painter, graphic designer (incl. chief designer of Commonwealth Office of Education in Sydney and Tasmanian Government Printer). Wrote and illustrated The Ships that Shaped Australia (Sydney: A & R, 1987).
