Jeffrey Makin is a renowned Australian artist best known for his 'en plein air' landscape paintings. Active from 1961 to today, his work follows a tradition of the Australian colonial painters. Makin’s works have been showcased across Australia and he is represented in all national, state and most regional collections. Most recently, Makin was a finalist in the John Glover Art Prize for 2013.
