Born at Mt Doreen of the Warlpiri tribe, his country Janyinki and Dreamings are Mardukuja-mardukuja (Kana) and Warna. He lives at Lajamanu where he works as a police aide. He and his wife Irene work together all the time. He started painting in 1986.
