Jack Sommers (father also)married Flora 'Vivienne' Francis, Melb,divorced in 1920. Joined AIF in 1914,Middle East,2nd Marriage 1922 Melb.to Eirene Browne,daughter Tess born 1919. Known as Tess van Sommers (later Editor Readers Digest) In 1931 he had TB & with a horse caravan her stepmother & two 1/2 brothers set out on the road and became 'wanderers' in the country areas, until Jack's death from TB in 1934.
