John Bowdich

  • Artist (Photographer)
Professional photographer and one-time assistant to E.T. Brissenden, Bowdich later took over Brissenden's Ipswich studio before becoming a travelling photographer with his son Thomas. The premature death of his son at the age of 26 seems to have ended Bowdich's photographic career as little work is known after this time and he is thought to have perhaps left the country.
