Scene design for the 1866 Lyster production of the opera Robert the Devil at the Theatre Royal, Melbourne, p.c. (ill. Colligan, p.101; Hennings Papers, owned by Hennings great-grandson Mr Geoff Morris, include a watercolour sketch of the ballet of nuns in Act III, scene ii of the Lyster Opera Company’s production of Meyerbeer’s Roberto il diavolo in late 1866).
'Young Australia’, a lad on Manly Beach in Hey Diddle Diddle in Sydney, prefigured Hop’s legendary 'Little Boy at/from Manly’.
