illustrator, drew for the Australian Women’s Weekly during (and after) WWII. He was a great tennis-player, according to Thora Ungar, along with her then husband, cartoonist George Johnston. Mills married a commercial artist – one of the top women fashion illustrators and their daughter is artist Josonia Palaitis.
