painter and engraver, worked in Melbourne, being listed as an engraver of 49a Queen Street, Melbourne in 1862, at 51 Queen Street, Melbourne and Railway Place, Sandridge in 1863 and 1864, and at 82 Queen Street, Melbourne in 1865. He was also listed as an engraver in Sands in 1884-86. Oil paintings in the Victoria Court at the 1886 Colonial and Indian Exhibition in London included: 'Cederberg, John Peter, Oscar Villa. 46 Alfred Street, College Lawn, Prahran – “Mid-Winter”: a view from Albert Park, showing the lagoon, Government House, a part of South Melbourne, with Melbourne in the distance’.
